So…after a month of testing our new ad-free webcam streaming service, we have decided to move Happy Cavy Webcam #3 back to Justin.tv.

As many of you might have read in our post Silly Webcam Advertisements, we removed Webcam #1 and #3 from Justin.tv due to obnoxious advertisements. Advertisements = Yuck.

Since the change, we have been running both cams to capacity on the new ad-free streaming service (for the techies: we are only allowed 30 GB per month for both web cams combined…not that much, really). This overuse has led to interruptions in the feed. Also, we have had more outages since the change than ever before. That’s just no fun at all! We love our friends and want to make sure that they (this means you, friend!) can see what we’re up to.

So webcam #3 is now back to using Justin.tv, which means you will have to sit through a short ad before the stream starts. Webcam #3 is our least viewed webcam, so the humans hope that this change will have minimal impact on our viewers. And this change still leaves HappyCavy Webcam #1 as an ad-free stream to watch while the obnoxious ads load on the other two cams.
