Not sure where we found this, but it’s super-cute and has been sitting on my human’s desktop for the past several months.

Ain‘t it just the cutest thing??

Fall has settled in and the cool of winter is quickly approaching the Happy Cavy home. Time to switch gears from how to keep cool to how to stay warm.

Regular readers may remember our guinea pig summer snack recipe we posted in this past July. In fact, a few of you have said that you tried it and your piggies loved it! That makes us really happy :)

Facebook Question
Just a few days ago, Facebook friend Ella asked us what ideas we have for a winter guinea pig snack. Because us guinea pigs can’t nosh on a big bowl of soup or enjoy a fresh baked pie (bummer!), we are turning to our fans.

So how about it? …

Do you have any ideas on what might make a special winter treat for guinea pigs?

Since guinea pigs can’t eat or drink hot foods/beverages, we’re looking for ideas about how to prepare guinea pig safe winter vegetables or winter-related snack items.

Please help our humans think of a really yummy winter recipe! You can share your ideas with us in the comment section.

What an awesome summer, we can’t believe it’s almost gone!

Thanks for all the messages you sent asking where we’ve been these past few months. You guys are the best! Basically, this summer was spent getting plenty of sunshine and munching on yummy vegetables from the human’s garden.

As the days get shorter and cooler, we’ll have a lot more time to connect with our awesome friends (fuzzy and human) on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr.

Until then, we’ve compiled a Buttercup video from random footage from this summer. Enjoy!
