Many of our wonderful readers may remember The HappyCavy Guinea Pig Rescue CareFRESH Contest we hosted last year in which HappyCavy worked with CareFRESH to give away twelve 60L bags of CareFRESH Natural Pet Bedding.

Critter Corral Guinea Pig Rescue in Steger, Illinois won that contest and received a bounty of bedding that was immediately put towards pampering their rescued pigs. What was unexpected was that the friendly folks at CareFRESH were so happy with how the contest turned out that they gave away six more bags of CareFRESH to five additional rescues who received the most votes. We thought that was totally awesome, and deserving of two (or four?) paws up! 😀

Just recently, Julie from Wee Companions guinea pig rescue in San Diego, California sent in some photos of their rescued guinea pigs enjoying their CareFRESH winnings.

Guinea pig rescues run on extremely tight budgets, so little luxuries like soft, comfy CareFRESH bedding can go a long way to make their lives (and the Human volunteers’ lives) so much brighter.
